The winery was founded in 1870 by Abraham Teperberg and his son Zeev Zaid Teperberg. Managed by Moti Teperberg, it is now one of Israel's leading wineries, producing more than 100 varieties of wine and grape juice. The company sells more than 4 million bottles a year worldwide. Teperberg is one of Israel's best-known wineries.

Legacy Cabernet Franc is a premium wine produced by the Teperberg family. Its grapes grow in a vineyard at an altitude of 350 metres on the slopes of the Efraim hills. It is a vineyard with a unique microclimate that has the most pronounced influence on the character of the wine. This noble grape juice is matured in barrels for 18 months, followed by 10 months in bottle, until the full synergy of aroma and flavour is achieved - this is a wine destined for the meal. Its enticing garnet red colour, is characterised by the classic aroma of Cabernet Franc i.e. an attractive, pleasant green note typical of the variety, which mixes with the scent of sweet fruits wrapped in a delicate aroma of wood. The velvety body and its presence leave a mark long after drinking.
